    Dear Colleagues:

The Paediatric Inpatient Research Network (PIRN) is working with the James Lind Alliance on a Paediatric Hospital Care Priority Setting Partnership. We are looking to better understand the questions Canadians have about paediatric hospital care.

This Partnership aims to shape the future research agenda in paediatric hospital care by bringing together clinicians (e.g. physicians, nurses, pharmacists, etc.), patients (children and youth) and caregivers (parents, family members) to identify and prioritize unanswered questions around the treatment and care of children in hospital. Your questions will help researchers and funding organizations prioritize future projects that would improve care for children and families.

Our priority setting partnership is being led by a steering group that includes patient advocates, patient advocacy group representatives, clinicians, and healthcare professionals working with persons who have extensive experience in this field. This project is being funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR).

Please help shape the future research agenda for paediatric hospital care research and complete our survey at:

This is an opportunity for you to lend your expertise from your own personal/professional experience, and have your say in setting general paediatric hospital care research priorities.

Please refer to our website for more information on who can complete the survey

This survey is open from July 2020 to October 2020– contribute your voice today.

    Thank you for your help,

    CAPN Executive
